At this time, slipcovers are not a service we offer.

Do you alter clothing?
No. MB&E specializes in custom work for the home, including pillows, cushions, draperies, and furniture reupholstery. We do not offer clothing alterations.

How much do you charge for your services?
Pricing varies based on several factors, including the type of item, the work involved, any necessary repairs, and whether materials such as new foam are required. The process begins by reaching out and texting several photos of the piece. We’ll then schedule a phone conversation to discuss your goals and any known issues. Based on that information and past experience, I’ll provide an estimate. If unforeseen issues arise once work begins, I’ll contact you to discuss the situation, any additional cost, and how you’d like to proceed.

Where do I find fabric?
I work with several fabric distributors and can help you order through them. You’re also welcome to source fabric locally or online. Before purchasing, we’ll talk through whether a fabric is appropriate for your project so you can order with confidence.

How much fabric do I need?
Fabric requirements depend on the size of your project and the fabric itself. Patterns with repeats or stripes that require matching will need additional yardage. I’ll help calculate the correct amount once the fabric is selected.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes, pickup and delivery are available within a limited region. Fees are based on distance and the size and weight of the furniture piece.

Do you work on large sectional sofas or sofa beds?
Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate sofas over 84 inches or sofa beds. Sofa beds are especially heavy and difficult to safely move and handle in our workspace.

When can you get started?
Once an estimate is approved, your project is added to our work queue. I can usually give a general timeframe and will reach out about a week before we’re ready to begin.
